home away from home.

thinking about
how much i love being *home.

*sleeping in old bedrooms.

late night chats with siblings.
movies. food. belonging.

seeing friends.
many friends,
in 48 hours.

an hour isn't enough time
to share. catch up. laugh.
with each of you.

sadly, now
the time has come,
to go back *home.

*a weird in between place
Bold
where we
will unpack our bags,
and go back to "normal everyday life."

i'm homesick already,
and i haven't even left yet.

christmas can't come soon enough.

oh, and in the mean time, arizona's winters do ROCK. come and visit us!!!

thoughts on the cinema.

I drank a large soda in the twenty minutes of PREVIEWS at New Moon. I then spent the next 122 minutes trying not to pee my pants. Lesson learned. Take small sips and pace yourself.

Saturday, I tried my best to ignore the little girl snoring next to me at Phantom of the Opera. Tonight, I had to do the same with a lady drooling next to me at New Moon. What gives? Stay home if you're tired fellow movie goers.

I'm thinking about creating a black market of candy, snacks, and beverages in the stalls of movie theaters.
$3.75 for a bag of Sour Patch kids and $4.75 for a soda is the going rate from the pimpled faced teenagers selling it at the counter.
Watch for me at a theater near you, I'll hook you up.

Oh and while I'm on my theater rant..

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.

NO CLAPPING. The actors can't hear you.

Thank You.

did i ever tell you about the time...

A few years ago,
Graham and I had the pleasure of traveling to Paris.

Traveling we did.
It was a hellish way to get there, {not complaining.. just explaining.}
Driving.
Planes.
Buses.
Trains.
Stolen i-pod
and
More Planes.

30 hours later,
we arrived in Paris.

I looked like crap.
I had teeth scum, ratty hair, wrinkled clothes, and a ginourmous backpack on.
Not the greatest way to make an entrance into Paris, but I was happy to be there.

Not minutes after we had stepped off the metro,
my excitement of paris was dashed!

Three
long legged.
dressed to nines.
beautiful.
french girls
asked Graham for directions.

They flirted. they giggled. and smiled.

Graham was over the moon.

I sulked on that corner of that cobbled stoned street, with my ugly Kelty backpack on
and muttered to myself..

Stupid. Beautiful. French.Girls.

___________________________________________________________
I still tease Graham about it sometimes. Hey, at least he's still go that charm right?

And now, that I'm over that.. {sort of..}

We've decided,
someday. someway.somehow..

We're going to move to Europe for a few years.

Oh, and I'm going to be..
dressed to nines. eating french bread. and flirting with the tourists too.

ha.

mundane monday.

it was one of those days.

a horrible. no good. bad day.

the monday,
that i wanted to bang my head on my computer.
avoid the angry faces of grumpy patients,
and beg the constant ringing phone to stop.

oh, monday.
you're the screeching halt to a wonderful taste of freedom.

the freedom/weekend, that involved:
sister in laws.
graham.
phantom of the opera.
sleeping in,
and
liberty market twice. {ya, it was that good.}

is it Thanksgiving yet?
