twelve months.

january: we saw the trailblazers, made a funny announcement, and a trip home to utah for kate.
february: we explored portland more, tried out new restaurants, celebrated valentines dayspent an expensive evening at the ER, and desperately prayed for sunshine.
march: we made new friends, saw devotchka play, spring at last arrived, and kate started school after a near ten year hiatus.
april: we took a trip to the coast, enjoyed the beauty of a full blown spring, graham turned 28,  and we  visited a tulip farm.
may: we relished the sunshine rocked out to m.ward, a trip to utah for graham, our friends came for a visit, and we saw iron and wine (and kind of hated it).
june:  kate survived finals, so she took a trip to utah to visit family and new friends, we visited pretty gardens, and went camping.
july: one word: snaggletooth. ( kidding, but it was major.), we celebrated fourth of  july despite aforementioned incident, hiking near the river, and we  took a trip to seattle.
august: we saw the shins play,we marked one year of living in portland, and we went to the state fair where we ate weird fried food with friends.
september: it was surprisingly hot in portland, so we enjoyed the rain when it came, graham finally went to arizona, kate experienced a horrible airplane ride, and a sweet trip home.
october: kate started fall semester, we welcomed fall, and celebrated our seventh anniversary.
november: we saw sufjan stevens play a live score to a movie, kate turned 29, so she started a list to do before thirty. we saw the civil wars play, hosted thanksgiving , and got in the christmas spirit.
december: homework, finals, and work consumed us, but we managed to get a "tree" and make santa cookies, before going home for christmas.

and that was 2011.
(and why i continue to blog. i would've forgotten half of that stuff if not.)
