What's a week...end? *

A few scenes from my very low key weekend.

Graham worked most of it, so I stayed and pushed through my frustrations with knitting while delving into a now full blown obsession with Downton Abbey. I made a cowl scarf, finished my 30 letters project, and went on little walks about the neighborhood in the rain in between. We finished the weekend off  with homemade pizza, and caught up on a few of our favorite shows.

It was an amazing weekend of nothingness.

*A quote from granny on Downton Abbey..and seriously, I know I'm late on board, but are you watching? England, accents, and fancy dresses mixed in with a little scandal PBS style. It's the best.

  1. I love Downton, too. The Grandma is so awesome. We left the men and children in the living room and watched it in my parent's room last night. I'm so happy it's a series and not a movie so that it can keep going.

Glad you had a happy, low key weekend.

  4. I have heard great things about that show, but I'm trying to stay away from the tv as much as possible and I'm already into way too many shows!

  10. you're right, it does sound like how my weekend was. sometimes i think about how fun it would be if we lived by each other and could hang out... you know?

and knitting is a skill i've always wanted to have, but never was willing to take the time for.

  12. I'm obsessed with Downton Abbey now, thanks to you. I watched the entire first season between last night and today and Netflix doesn't have anymore available. It is such a wonderful show, thanks for recommending it. :)

Also, as far as knitting goes, have you taken a look at Debbie Stoller's book Stitch & Bitch? I don't care for the name much, but it's the best knitting book I've ever used. I swear by it. :)
